and the days roll by
To celebrate my second promotion my Mark took me to a new restaurant, The Barncountry diner. It was lovely. There was an actual cow in the cow shed that i was allowed to pet. Betsy was just adorable as were the chickens in the hen house nearby. I took the liberty of confiscating one of the freshly laid eggs. there were so many i don't think they'll even notice.
Mark tended to the garden before booking a table unfortunately by the time we finished exploring the lot it was time forme to head off to work. Mark went home and sorted out a hen house for me to place my little egg. Hopefully it will hatch and we will be on our way to having our own clutch of chickens.
I added some upgrades to the hen house. The most important being the fox alarm since foxes are a curse in this area of town. and what do you know one decided to test my alarm almost immediately.
Life continued at a steady pace. work stayed the same. Ispent sometime patroling the festivals in the city and sampling the delicious foods. I spotted Mark with his old roommate Alice at the flea market pity we didnt have enough money forany purchases there was a wonderfully confortable looking chair which would be super for resting my aching bones right about now
I also entered the singing contest at the Karaoke bar. I thought i did great unfortunately I was the only one. I managed to score 47/100 most of thosewere just forparticipation i think as there werent many other entries.
I tried teaching myself to cook with not much luck. and still all i can manage is a barely edible eggs and toast. I had home visits from a couple of friends, Added another upgrade to the henhouse, And did a little gardening until the time came to rush towards the nearest hospital.
